First Post

I'm trying this blog thing.

Might as well, right?

I mean, I'm a writer.

I like to vent about what doesn't work in the world.

I like to celebrate what does.

I'm tired of idiots being in charge.

And, in this day and age, if you want to be a writer and want to pay attention, you should have a website, or, at the very least, a blog.

I have no interest in having a website, so here I am having a blog.

Sort of the twenty first century way of having a cigarette, only it doesn't kill you in the same way.

I've got a poem coming out on Wednesday. Let you know the details when I've got them.

And don't think I'm going to post here every day. I don't like people telling me what to do.
